1. Shortline Railroad - Proposed expenditure for preliminary design cost or partial design and
construction of sign at trail head parallel to rail. Completed conceptual design would allow
application for grants.
CONCENSUS BY COUNCIL FOR COMPLETED CONCEPTUAL DESIGN RATHER THAN CONSTRUCTION
OF SIGN TO NON·EX/STANT TRAIL
2. Transportation Facility Charge revenue estimates reduced from 100 units in 2003 to 50 new
homes in 2004. Mill Pond traffic concerns will be addressed when new Junior High is added.
3. Y21Y3 Project- Make a priority after election to push for funding. Tim Peterson was asked to
research First Street traffic light timing with the Department of Transportation.
4. CDBG- Senior Center currently In and Out with City as support agency. Other has restriction on
usage, must benefit majority of population. There was some discussion on possible uses.
5. 3081310 project should be closed out in 2003.
6. Municipal Building Fund - reviewed update on City Hall remodel.
7. Agnes Bennick stated that property tax estimates are in from Thurston County Assessor.
8. Follow-up items from 10-14-03. Agnes Bennick reported speaking to representative from the
Office of Minority Business Enterprise and Thurston County Public Health regarding Thurston
County Mental and Physical Health expenditure clarification
