Until a complete application is made, the Community Development Department can only attempt to inform the applicant of general requirements as they appear in the form presented by the applicant at the time of pre-submission. Proponent: Angela Cid and adjoining property owners Project Proposal: Convert onsite stormwater runoff to stormwater system Project Location: 98th Way, Tahoma Terra Ph II, Div 2 Parcel Numbers: 78640119100, 19200, 19300, 19500, 19600, 19900 In order to convert onsite stormwater systems to the Tahoma Terra Stormwater Conveyance System, the individuals will need to provide to the City engineered plans. The plans will need to include construction details as you will be connecting to a designed system, and crossing utility easements and City right-of-way. A City Right-of-Way permit is required to do work in the right-of-way. You will need to contact Soundbuilt to let them know your intentions of connection so that the number of units connected does affect the entire stormwater system. The stormwater system within Tahoma Terra is owned and maintained by the Tahoma Terra Homeowners Association, with an agreement with the City that the system will remain maintained. Any damage to City right of way, including sidewalks, planter strips, trees, and utilities will need to be repaired to City standards. The cost incurred from any engineering, construction or repair is the responsibility of the homeowner. You may want to consider contacting homeowners on both sides of the street, to share in the cost of plans and permits, as well as less construction disruption.
