ORDINANCE NO. 711
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm amending the 2000 Budget
adopted by Ordinance No. 679, (12/99), Appendix I[ by approving the
addition of two new employee salary classifications with accompanying
step salary ranges and establishing an effective date.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Appendix II Salary Step Schedule is amended by the addition of the following new
non-exempt positions with the accompanying Salary Range. Salary step amounts are for
full-time positions.

Section 2. The Appendix II 2000 Salary Schedule is amended by the addition of a Step 1
Deputy Clerk Position with a starting salary of $2,005 per month. The position
is expected to spend 50% of their time assisting the City Clerk and 50% of their
time performing accounting functions.
Section 3. The Appendix fi 2000 Salary Benefit Costs is amended by the addition of a
Deputy Clerk Position at a salary of $2,005 per month payable at 50% from the
Current Fund Administrative Department, 25% from the Water Fund and 25%
from the Sewer Fund.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force five days after the date of
publication according to state law.
