761 Increase 2002 Fire ServicesCITY OF YELM
ORDINACE NO. 761
AN ORDINACE amending the 2002 City of Yelm Budget adopted by
Ordinance No. 746, (2/01) by increasing the 2002 fire services appropriation
By $20,460 and establishing an effective date.
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm and Yelm Fire District have negotiated a mutually
agreeable Fire Services Agreement; and
WHEREAS, a change has been made in the formula for calculating fire services
costs; and
WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council authorized the mayor to sign the City of
Yelm/Yelm Fire District Agreement at the May 8, 2002 regular meeting;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Yelm:
Section 1. Amendment. The City of Yelm 2002 budget appropriation for Fire
Suppression and the Capital Reserve Account lines are amended as
indicated:

Section 2. A copy of this ordinance shall be forwarded to the Washington State
Auditor's Office.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect five days after its passage,
approval and publication.
PASSED and APPROVED by the Yelm City Council, and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Yelm, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this 22"d day of May, 2002.
