783 Permanent Full-Time Position in Sewer Dept.`~ CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 783
AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2003 Budget adopted
by Ordinance No. 772 (12/02) and the attached Employee Salary
Schedule, Section 2, Appendix II, by creating a permanent full-time
position in the Sewer Department.
WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council considered the need for additional Waste
Water Treatment and Water Reclamation Plant staffing at the July 9, 2003 regular
meeting and requested preparation of a budget amendment creating this new position;
and
WHEREAS, Council determined that continued efficient operations of the Waste
Water Treatment Plant and Water Reclamation Plant requires creating and filling a
permanent full-time position; and
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington does
hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. City of Yelm 2003 Budget Ordinance No. 772, and Salary Schedule,
,,,~ Appendix II annexed to and incorporated therein by reference, are
amended by the addition of a new Permanent Full-Time WWTP/Reuse
Operator Assistant position.
Classification: WWTP /Reuse Operator Assistant
Classification Number: 2075
Annual Minimum Salary (STEP 1): 28 800
Annual Maximum Salary (STEP 7): 34 380
Section 2. Ratify and Confirmation Clause -Any action taken pursuant to this
ordinance but prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and
confirmed.
