804 Decrease Current Fund Reserve Account AppropriationCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 804
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm amending the 2004 City of
Yelm Budget, adopted by Ord. No. 794 (12/03), by decreasing
the Current Fund Reserve Account appropriation and increasing
the Fire Suppression appropriation by equal amounts and declaring
an effective date.
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm and Yelm Fire District have an existing negotiated
contract for Fire Suppression services that equalizes city to unincorporated district per
capita costs; and
WHEREAS, the Yelm Fire District appeared at the April 14, 2004 Regular City
Council meeting requesting additional funding for 2004; and
WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council requested preparation of an ordinance
amending the 2004 City of Yelm Budget to fund a request to convert three temporary
firefighter positions to full time/career status for the remainder of 2004; and
WHEREAS, negotiations will begin immediately on a new fire suppression
contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section 1. City of Yelm 2004 Budget appropriations are changed as shown:

Section 2. Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect five days after the date of
