832 Repeal and Replace YMC 13.04.140CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 832
AN ORDINACE repealing and replacing Yelm Municipal Code §13.04.140
Service -Connection -Master meter, F. and adding text directing the
application of both monthly water base and water consumption rates and
declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, utilization of master meters and compound meters to determine
water consumption is increasing; and
WHEREAS, Yelm Municipal Code lacks defined written guidelines to provide
consistent charges and application of service; and
WHEREAS, most residential uses being measured by master meter utility
accounts would benefit from reduced costs by implementation of this rate structure;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM,
WASHINGTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Yelm Municipal Code §13.04.140 F. shall be repealed in its entirety, as
provided below
and replaced with the following text.
Monthly charges as currently established or hereafter amenrlP

Section 2. Ratify and Confirmation Clause
Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance but prior to the effective date
is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in effect and be in force five days following
passage and publication.
