828 Increase Appropriations for Fire Suppression and for Care and Custody of PrisonersCITY OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 828 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm amending the 2005 Budget as adopted by Ordinance No. 819 (12/04), by increasing appropriations for Fire Suppression and for Care and Custody of Prisoners and decreasing the Capital Reserve appropriation by an equal amount and authorizing Mayor Rivas to sign the Nisqually Jail Contract Addendum securing prisoner beds on a daily basis. WHEREAS, Council determined that increases are necessary in certain 2005 City of Yelm Budget appropriations; and WHEREAS, Council had determined that securing two (2) permanent prisoner beds on a daily basis is in the City's best interests; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, THURSTON, COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authorizes Mayor Rivas to sign the Nisqually Jail Contract Addendum permanently securing two (2) prisoner beds on a daily basis. Section 4. Copies of this ordinance shall be filed with the 2005 Budget and sent to the State Auditor and Municipal Research and Services. Section 5. Effective Date.
