A RESOLUTION adopting the "Inter-.locaLCooperative Agreement.For Thurston .County
Emergency Management Council".
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Ch. 39.34. RCW authorizes cooperative
undertakings by public agencies as defined in the act;
WHEREAS,,it-.is .in the.-best interest.of.the residents of_ThLrston County that all of the
political subdivisians_.in.the.county cooperate and .coordinate. with each other in developing. .
emergency management plans and programs; and
WHEREAS, a unified. approach to,providing.emergency-management is cost efficient_nnd
can prevent the duplication of effort.
NOW, THEREFORE;-THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Yelm hereby~accepts.and-adopts the "Inter---local Cooperative Agreement.F.or
Thurston County Emergency Management Council" in its entirety.
