A RESOLUTION OF'THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON ACCEPTING THE
WATER REUSE PROJECT AS COMPLETED.
WHEREAS, the. City of Yelm entered into a project funded by the United States Department of
Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service and the State of Washington
Departments of Ecology and Health for the design and construction of a Class A Reclaimed
Water Facility, distribution lines for delivery of the reclaimed water and construction of reuse
sites, including Cochrane Memorial Park;
WHEREAS, the project has been designed with construction management by the City's
consulting engineer, Skillings-Connolly, Inc. of Lacey, Washington and was constructed by three
separate contracts, Venture Construction, Inc. of Auburn, Washington (Class A Water
Reclamation Facility); Olalla Hills Excavating of Olalla, Washington (installation of reclaimed
water distribution system); and Rodarte Construction, Inc. of Auburn, Washington (Cochrane
Memorial Park).
WHEREAS, the project has been substantially completed to the satisfaction of Skillings-
Connolly, Inc., the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities
Service and the State of Washington Departments of Ecology and Health and Skillings-Connolly,
Inc. Has recommended that the City accept the project as completed, now, therefore;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The.City of Yelm hereby accepts the Water Reclamation Project as constructed by the
above referenced contractors and hereby certifies its acceptance of said project to the United
States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, Rural Utilities Service and the State of
Washington Departments of Ecology and Health.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington, and approved by its Mayor, at a
regularly scheduled open public meeting thereof this 8th day of December 1999.
