RESOLUTION NO. 377
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON INCREASING THE
MEDICAL INSURANCE CAP FOR CITY OF YELM
EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council, in the best interest of the City, established a cap in Resolution 305,
(12/93) on the amount Yelm will pay for employee medical benefits including medical, dental and vision
coverage; and,
WHEREAS, City Council at the same time established and authorized creating an insurance pool if
city costs exceed the established cap of $280 per employee for medical benefits; and
WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed the rate set in Resolution 305 and recommended an
increase in the per employee insurance cap;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES RESOLVE, AS
FOLLOWS:
The maximum employer contribution per employee for medical benefits is increased from
$280.00 per month to $309.00 per month beginning on January 1, 1999.
ADOPTED this 9th day of December 1998.
