370 Personnel Policy Amendment Exempt EmployeesCITY OF YELM RESOLUTION 370 PERSONNEL POLICY AMENDMENT -EXEMPT EMPLOYEES A Resolution of the City Council amending City of Yelm Resolution 313 (7/94) and City Personnel Policies by adding certain positions to Chapter 2 (h) as exempt employees. WHEREAS, Resolution 370 adopting City of Yelm Personnel Policies defines an Exempt Employee as a salaried employee who holds an administrative, professional or executive position which by definition is exempt from the wage and hour limitations of the Fair Labor Standards Act; and WHEREAS, additional positions have been identified as being eligible for classification as exempt positions; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES RESOLVE THAT THE YELM PERSONNEL POLICIES SHALL BE AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: Yelm Personnel Policies, Chapter 2, Section 2.2, Subsection (h) are hereby amended by the addition of the underlined text shown below: (h) The exempt employees of the City are the Chief Administrative Officer, the City Clerk, the Chief of Police, the Police Commander, the City Attorney, the Court Administrator, the Director of Public Works, the Director of Community Development and the Municipal Judge.
