360 Five Corners SignalizationCITY OF YELM
RESOLUTION NO. 360
A resolution concerning the route selected for the Five Corners Signalization project
and authorizing the acquisition of property necessary to complete the project.
WHEREAS, an update of the Five Corners Signalization project was presented to the Yelm City
Council at an open public meeting held on January 8, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council reviewed and awarded the bid for the construction of the Five
Corners Signalization project at a public meeting held on February 2, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the Five Corners Signalization project has been designed to improve and correct
deficiencies in the existing roadway and increase the safety of the public using the roadway; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM,
WASHINGTON
That the F eve Corners Signalization project serves the public good and that construction as
designed should proceed.
2. That City staff is authorized to obtain necessary property through negotiation or through a
condemnation process as provided in RCW 18.12, Eminent Domain By Cities.
