A RESOLUTION. IDENTIFYING CITY OWNED PROPERTY FOR SURPLUS.
THE PROPERTY IS LOCATED AT 203 FIRST STREET S., ,THE CITY
OF YELM MAINTENANCE SHOP.
WHEREAS, the City has determined to surplus an extra parcel of
land for the purpose of trading for an equal sized parcel with the
adjacent property owner to the south for the future extension of
Mosman Road; and-
WHEREAS, a City Council action indicates the intent of the
City to surplus this parcel;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Surplus of the following described property has been
requested for the purpose of trading for an equal sized parcel with
the adjacent property owner to the south for the future extension
of Mosman Road:
A PORTION OF LOT 3, BLOCK 1, OF McKENZIE'S SECOND ADDITION TO
YELM, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 8 OF PLATS, PAGE 104: DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING AT THE WESTERLY CORNER COMMON TO LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK
1, OF SAID PLAT; THENCE.S 5054'28" E ALONG THE LINE COMMON
TO SAID LOTS 3 AND 4 A DISTANCE OF 99.76 FEET TO THE
NORTHWESTERLY MARGIN OF SR 507; THENCE N 5134'39" E ALONG
SAID MARGIN A DISTANCE OF 3.79 FEET; THENCE N 3841'29" W A
DISTANCE OF 97.40 FEET; THENCE S 5134'59" W A DISTANCE OF
24.90 FEET TO THE POINT OF THE BEGINNING.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington, and
APPROVED by its Mayor, at a regularly scheduled open public meeting
thereof this 24th day of January, 1996.
