337 Viacom Cable Sold To TCI CommunicationsCITY•OF YELM

RESOLUTION NO . ~'1~
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm has- been advised of the sale of
Viacom Cable to TCI Communications, Inc. and
WHEREAS, the existing Franchise between Viacom and the
City of Yelm will expire on April 14, 1996, and
WHEREAS, Viacom hasrequested an. extension to the
existing franchise agreement to allow adequate time to address
the operational issues of blending the two companies, and
WHEREAS, the rights of .all parties will remain unchanged
during an extension of the franchise,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Yelm, Washington that: .
The franchise agreement between Viacom, Inc. and
the City of Yelm be extended to April 14, 1997.
