A RESOLUTION
THE S.T.E.P.
COMPLETED.
OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON ACCEPTING
SEWER SYSTEM WITH ALL APPURTENANCES AS
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm entered into a project funded by the
United States Department of Agriculture/Rural Community and
Economic Development, Environmental Protection Agency and the State
of Washington Centennial Clean Water Fund 'for the design and
construction of a S.T.E.P. Sewer System, Phase I, Contracts 1,2,&
3 and Phase II, Contract 4 in the City of Yelm.
WHEREAS, the project has been designed with construction management
by the City's Engineer, Parametrix, Inc. of Sumner, Washington and
was constructed Phase I, Contract 1, Wastewater Treatment Plant, by
Red Samm Construction, Inc., Kirkland, Washington, Contract 2,
Collection Pipelines by Active Construction of Gig Harbor,
Washington, Contract 3, On-site Installation by Northwest Cascade
of Puyallup, Washington, Phase II, Contract 4 by Olson Brother's,
Inc. of Puyallup, Washington.
WHEREAS, the project has been substantially completed to the
satisfaction of the Engineer and the United States Department of
Agriculture/Rural Community and Economic Development, Environmental
Protection Agency and the State of Washington Centennial Clean
Water Fund and the City Engineer has recommended that the City
accept the project as completed, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Yelm hereby accepts the S.T.E.P. Sewer
System project as constructed by the above referenced contractor's,
and hereby certifies its acceptance of said project to the United
States Department of Agriculture/Rural Community and economic
Development, Environmental Protection Agency and the State of
Washington Centennial Clean Water Fund.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington, and
APPROVED by its Mayor, at a regularly scheduled open public meeting
