317 Setting Median Income LevelsCITY OF YELM
RESOLUTION N0. 317
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM
ESTABLISHING AND SETTING MEDIAN INCOME LEVELS.
WHEREAS, it is. the .intent of the Yelm City Council to make
available reduced water and/or sewer rates to Senior Citizens; and
WHEREAS, "Senior Citizen"'has been defined in Sewer Ordinance No.
506 and Ordinance No. 511 amending Water Ordinance No. 337 as a
head of household over the age of 65 who is retired and is below
the median income as established by the City;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The median income for a. single person shall be
$9,600 per year or less;
Section 2. The median income for a couple shall be $12,800 per
year. or less.
