ANNEXATION REQUEST N0. 808?_
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM SETTING
FORTH THE DECISION OF THE COUNCIL REGARDING A NGTICE OF
INTENT TO CIRCULATE A PETITION TO ANNEX CERTAIN TERRITORY TO
THE CITY OF YELM.
WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council has received the attached notice of
intent to commence annexation proceedings,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the procedures established by Revised Code of
Washington 3~A.14.120 and Yelm Municipal Code Chapter 17.64, the Ciiy
Council has met with the initiating parties, "
WHEREAS, the Council has duly considered said request to initiate
annexation,
Now, Therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELi~i DOES RESOLVE, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1 - Decision. That the Council hereby acce t / rejects /
accepts with modifications ) the proposal to initiate annexation and [
does oes notes grant the initiating parties permission to circulate
a final petition to annex.
S? _ inn 2 - Com rehensive Plan and Zoning. That the Council [ will /
will not require the simultaneous adoption of proposed zoning and
compre ensive plan use designations for the area to be annexed. (If
zoning and plan designations are required such requirement must be
clearly indicated in the final petition.)
Section 3 - Assumption of City Indebtedness. That the Council will
/ will not 1 require the assumption of a proportionate share o
existing city indebtedness by the area to be annexed. (If assumption
of debt is required such requirement must be clearly indicated in the
final petition.)
Sect- - Local Im rovement District. That the Council [ will /
will not equire simultaneous formation of or consent to be included
wi in a local improvement district.

Section 6 - Expiration. Any permission granted by this resolution to
circulate a final annexation petition shall expire and be null and
void on that date which is exactly _~ year(s) after adoption of this
resolution. Therefore, any final petition along with the required fee
and such accompanying information as is required by the City to
evaluate the proposal in accordance with Chapter 2.66 of the Yelm
~Sunicipal Code .must be,presentecl to the City Clerk prior to such date.
