PERSONNEL POLICIES
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM ADOPTING
PERSONNEL POLICIES PERTAINING TO THE RECRUITING, SELECTION ,
PLACEMENT, PROMOTION, RETENTION, AND TERMINATION OF EMPLOYEES OF
THE CITY OF YELM AND PROVIDING GUIDELINES AND STANDARDS FOR THE
PERFORMANCE OF THOSE EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the best interests of
the City of Yelm and of its employees to set forth in writing the
policies of the City with respect to employment by the City
WHEREAS, the proposed policies have been reviewed by selected
employees from each department of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES
RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That the attached Personnel Policies for The City of Yelm, dated
July 16, 1992, are hereby adopted and shall be in force
immediately and until repealed or amended by action of the
Council.
Section 2.
That copies of these policies shall be distributed to all current
and future employees of the City.
