HENDERSON ANNEXATION AND ZONING
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM EXPRESSING
THE INTENT OF THE COUNCIL WITH RESPECT TO THE ANNEXATION PETITION
PRESENTED FOR PROPERTY ADJACENT TO CULLENS ROAD.
WHEREAS, Robert A. Henderson has submitted a petition to annex
certain property lying west of Cullens Road and immediately north
of the Yelm city limits,
WHEREAS, said petition includes the signatures of the record
owners of 100 of the value of the described area,
WHEREAS, said property lies within the interim urban growth area
of the City of Yelm, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing and
recommends that such property be zoned as "single-family
residential" upon annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES
RESOLVE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 It is the intent of the City of Yelm to annex the S~
of the SE} of the NE} of the NE} of Section 24 of Township 17
North, Range 1 East W.M.. together with the adjacent right-of-way
of Cullens Road.
Section 2. That the Thurston County Boundary Review Board shall
be notifed of said intent. Upon receipt of approval of the Board
it is the intent of the Council to adopt an ordinance implement-
ing the above express intent and to zone said property as single-
family residential (R-1).
Section 3. That the Yelm Comprehensive Plan Map shall be amended
to designate said property as "single-family residential."
