NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BLOCK 8 (EMANUEL LUTHERAN) ALLEY VACATION
The Yelm City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, July 22, 1992, to receive comments on a petition to
vacate the ten-foot wide alley lying in Block 8 of McKenzie's
Second Addition. This alley is located adjacent to the site of
the Emanuel Lutheran Church and is unopened.
The hearing will be held at Yelm City Hall, 105 Yelm Avenue W.,
Yelm, Washington. All interested parties are invited to attend.
Written comments should be directed to the Yelm City Council and
may be mailed to P.O. Box 479, Yelm, WA 98597 or delivered to
City Hall. Written comments must be received prior to the
hearing to be considered by the Council. The Council's decision
regarding ratification will be final. Additional information and
a map of the alley proposed for vacation may be obtained by
contacting Todd Stamm, City Planner, at Yelm City Hall, 458-3244.
The City of Yelm as lead agency for this proposal has determined
that this proposal does not have a probable significant adverse
impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement
(EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030(2)(c). This decision
was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and
other information on file with the lead agency. This information
is available to the public on request. There is no comment
period for this DNS.
You may appeal this determination to the Yelm City Council at the
address below by submitting a written appeal no later than
Wednesday, July 22, 1992. You should be prepared to make specific
factual objections. Contact Shelly Badger, City Clerk, to learn
more about about the procedures for SEPA appeals. This DNS is not
a permit and does not by itself constitute approval.
