CITY OF YELM POLICY ON ACCIDENT PREVENTION
AND SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yelm has determined
it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt a policy on
accident prevention and safety in the workplace; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm has an obligation to its
employees, customers and the public at large to take reasonable
steps to assure safety in the workplace and the prevention of
occupational injuries and illnesses; and
WHEREAS, The City Council believes that a policy which
emphasizes the integration of safety into each job task through
the cooperative efforts of City of Yelm managers, supervi3ors and
employees would benefit the City's employees, customers and the
public
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby
RESOLVED by the City of Yelm that Exhibit A annexed hereto
is by this and every other reference thereto herein incorporated
as tt,ough fully set forth herein.
Effective Date. This resolution shell be effective on and
after the 25th day of July, 1990.
