WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm is in the progress of entering into a grant
agreement with the State of Washington Department of Ecology "Centennial
Clean Water Interim Wastewater Design Grants Program" for the purpose
of developing a Yelm Sewer Facilities Plan for the Town of Yelm.
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of the
process, and;
WHEREAS, RCW 39.80 requires that the town publicly announce requirements
for architectural and engineering services, and;
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certif ies that it will fulfill the local matching
requirements as stipulated in the proposed project budget as required,
. and that local matching resources will not be used for ineligible costs
and activities, and;
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that it will comely with all applicable
state laws, regulations and guidelines upon entering into the grant
agreement, now, therefore be it resolved that the Mayor of the Town
of Yelm and the Yelm Town Administrator be and they hereby are authorized
to execute the necessary documents, to accept and implement the grant
described above.
