RFSOLUPION NO. 186
Wf-IERE;AS, the Town of Yelm is applying to the State of Washington for
.l a Local Development Matching F1ind Grant,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that certain conditions be met as part of
the application requirements,
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that it is an eligible applicant
as defined in the guidelines,
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that it will fulfill the local
matching requirements as stipulated in the proposed project budget as
required by the enabling statute,
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that local matching resources will
not be used for ineligible costs and activities, and that they will
not be used to meet the matching requirements of another publicly-
assisted program,
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies its commitment to fulfill the local
matching requirements as stipulated in proposed project budget, ensuring
that the local resources will match the state's share on a dollar-for-
dollar basis and that no more than 50~ of the match will be met by in-
kind contributions,
WI-IEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that it will fulfill the statutory
requirement to have participation of across-section of the local community
in the economic development project, including business, labor, education
and training, and public sector,
WHEREAS, the Town of Yelm certifies that it will comply with all applicable
state laws, regulations, and guidelines in the event that this application
is selected for funding, including but not limited to the provisions
contained in Chapter 125, Laws of 1984 (enabling statute); now, therefore
be it resolved:
That Ronald G. Lawton the Mayor of the Town of Yelm, is authorized to
submit this application to the State of Washington on behalf of the
Town of Yelm.
