890 Budget Amend Longmire ParkCITY OF YELM

AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2008 Budget as adopted by
Ordinance No. 886 (12/07), increasing the Longmire Park Fund budget by
transferring from the Cumulative Reserve & Urban Development Fund, and
declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, the Longmire Park Fund needs $45,260 additional appropriations to
purchase playground equipment and remain in a positive cash flow position; and
WHEREAS, the Cumu-ative Reserve & Urban Development (CR&UD) Fund has sufficient
reserve available for capital projects to cover the playground equipment; and
WHEREAS, Longmire Park equipment costs are suitable expenditures for Urban
Development Fund reserves;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The Longmire Park Fund 2008 Annual Budget Appropriation shall be amended by
increasing the appropriation in the amount of $45,260. This shall be achieved by
appropriating an additional $45,260 transfer from Cum Reserve & Urban
Development Fund (104).

Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after passage,
approval, and publication.
Section 3. Ratify and Confirmation Clause. Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance but
prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and confirmed.
