AN ORDTN~NCE providing for annexation of certain ~
contiguous property to the Town of Yelm for municipal
purposes.
WHER~AS, on Fet~ruary 2?~, 196b, the Town of
Yelm adopted its ~rdinance
No. 11.0 whereby the Town duly and regularly annexed the real prc~perty described
tnerein; and
WH~REAS, on October 10, i973, the Town of Yelm adopted its Ordinance
?Vo. 153 whereby the 2own annexed the property described therein; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the aforesaid annexations, it appears that a
strip of land lying within the ri;ht-of-way of ceunty road known as Rhoton Road,
having a width of approxi.mately 34 feet and extending for a distance of approximately
1,~51 feet, was inadvertentiy omitted from the legal description s~t, forth in said
annexation ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the said strip of land is completely surrounded on three sides
by property included within the corporate limits of the Town of Yelm and such street
should reasonably be included within the corporate limits of the Town of Yelm; and
idH~REAS, the Town Council of the `~'own of Yelm has determined that it
is in the best interests of the Town to annex the said strip of land to the Town•
for municipal purposes, to-wit: a ccntinuaticn of the Town street known as Rhoton
Road, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT QR~AINED BY THE TOWtV COUNCIL OF TH~ TClWTJ GF YyL"d1, THURSTON COUNTY,
WASHINGTQN, as follows :
S~CTION 1, Pursuant to the provisions of Section 35.13.180 of the ~ f

n'g"~on, that certain real property situated in Thurston County,
State of Washington whiah is described in E~hibit A annexed hereta and by this
referenc~ incorporated herein as thcugh fully set forth herein, being contiguous to
the Town of Yelm, Washington, and not being a part of any incorporated "city or town
of the State of Washingten~ be~ and the same is hereby annexed to the Town cf Yelm
for municipaZ purposes.
SECTI~N 2. That the Clerk of the Town of Yelm be, and he is hereby
directed to reccrd a copy of this Ordinance in the office of the Auditor of Thurston
County, Washin~ton, and to file a certified coQy hereof r~ th the Board of County
Commissioners of Thurston County, Washington pursuant t~ the prcvisions of Chapter 35.7.3
of~_the Revised Code of Washingtan.
SECTION 3.: That the said real property shall beccme and be a part of
the Town of Yelm upon the passage, approval and publication of this Ordinance, and
shall be sub~ect to all laws and ordinances of the Town af Yelm then and thereafter
in force.
