845 Amend Budget CDD CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 845
AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2006 Budget adopted
by Ordinance No. 840 (12/05), authorizing and funding AWC Trust
Benefits to the Mayor and declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm contracts with the AWC Trust to provide medical,
dental, vision and employee assistance benefits; and
WHEREAS, AWC Trust Underwriting Rules specify that with City Council
authorization mayors in a strong mayor form of government can participate in the Trust;
and
WHEREAS, applicable Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits for 2006
were adopted in Ordinance No. 840, Appendix III;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The Yelm City Council authorizes inclusion of the mayor in the AWC
Trust in accordance with AWC Trust Underwriting Rules and the City of
Yelm 2006 Budget, Appendix III.
Section 2. The 2006 City of Yelm Budget, Current Fund (001) is amended by
increasing the Executive Department (001 513) Medical Insurance
appropriation and decreasing the Capital Reserve {001 576)
appropriation by $13,471.00 each.
Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after its
passage, approval, and publication.
Section 4. Ratify and Confirmation Clause
Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance but prior to the effective date
is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Adopted by the Yelm City Council at a regular meeting thereof this 8th day of March,
2006.
