A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON
FIXING A TIME AND DATE FOR A HEARING ON THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR
THE KILLION ROAD LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington (the "City") adopted
Resolution Number 464 on April 26, 2006, declaring its intention to order certain local
improvements within the City and to create a local improvement district; and
WHEREAS, on May 24, 2006, a hearing was held and after due consideration the
Council adopted Ordinance Number 847 on June 14, 2006, ordering the improvements
and creating Killion Road Local Improvement District ("Killion Road LID"); and
WHEREAS, the improvements within Killion Road LID have now been completed
and the assessment roll for Killion Road LID has been filed with the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Clty COUC1C11 of the Clty of Yelm,
Washington that a hearing on the final assessment roll for Killion Road LID shall be held
at 6:00 PM on May 11, 2009, in the City Council Chambers at the Public Safety
Building, 206 McKenzie Street SE, Yelm, Washington; and
BE iT FURTHER RESOIved that the hearing will be conducted by a hearing
examiner. All persons who may desire to object to the assessments are hereby notified
to appear and present such objections at the hearing; and
BE iT FuRTHER RESO~ved that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
the hearing once a week for two consecutive weeks, with the date of the last publication
to be at least fifteen days prior to the date of the hearing, and to mail a notice of the
hearing at least fifteen days before the hearing date, to each owner or reputed owner of
any lot, tract, parcel of land, or other property in Killion Road LID, at the address shown
on the tax rolls of the Thurston County/Treasurer's Office.
