905 Water Rate Increase CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 905
AN ORDINANCE amending Yelm Municipal Code Title 13, by
amending Subsection 13.04.250(A), Monthly Base Rate Charges
and Subsection 13.04.250(B), Monthly Consumption Charges.
WHEREAS, the City has been working on an update of the 2002 Water System Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Water System Plan update requires the financial analysis to support
existing debt, operation and maintenance, and new capital projects; and
WHEREAS, the proposed rate increase brings the water fund into financial balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amending Subsection 13.04.250(A), by amending the monthly base rate
charges as follows:
The monthly base rate charges based upon meter sizes for all consumers will be:

Section 2. Amending Subsection 13.04.250(B) by amending the monthly
consumption charges as follows:
The monthly consumption charges for all commercial, residential and irrigation meters
will be:

Section 3. Effective date. The ordinance shall take effect July l, 2009.
ADOPTED by the Yelm City Council at the regular meeting this 9th day of June 2009.
