639 Property Tax Rates 1999 CITY OF YELM ORDINANCE N0.639 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON SETTING THE PROPERTY TAX RATES FOR COLLECTION IN 1999. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yelm attests that the population of the city of Yelm is less than ten thousand; and WHEREAS, the City of Yelm had properly given notice of the public hearing held on November 10, 1999, to consider the City's revenue sources for the current expense budget for the 1999 calendar year, pursuant to RCW 84.55.120; and, WHEREAS, the Yelm City Council, after hearing and duly considering all relevant evidence and testimony presented, determine that the City of Yelm requires an increase in property tax revenue from the previous year, in addition to that resulting from the addition of new construction and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state-assessed property, in order to discharge the expected expenses and obligations of the City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON Section 1. That an increase in the regular property tax levy, in addition to the increase resulting from the addition of new construction and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state assessed property, is hereby authorized for the 19991evy in the amount of $24,030, which is a percentage increase of 6.23% from the previous year.
