447 Code Permit Fees
CITY OF YELM
RESOLUTION NO. 447
WHEREAS. the Yelm City Council adopted the International Fire Code. the International Building
Code, the International Residential Code, the International Mechanical Code, the International Fuel Gas Code.
the Uniform Plumbing Code. and the Washington State Energy Code via Ordinance Number 808 on July 14.
2004; and .
WHEREAS, the International Building Code and other Codes pertaining to building do not contain
provisions for establishing permit fees for building. mechanical, and plumbing permits; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance Number 808 indicates that permit fees will be established by resolution of the
Yelm City Council; and
WH EREAS, the Yelm City Council desires to readopt the fees established under the previous building
codes; and
WHEREAS. the City does not currently pass the cost of public hearings before the Hearing Examiner
on to developers, .'
Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED. by the City Council of the City of Yelm that commencing on
September 23, 2004 the fees as set forth in the accompanying Attachment A shall be charged and collected
by the City upon submission of the respective applications.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that applicants that receive permits, approvals, or appeals before the
Hearing Examiner shall be billed for the actual costs of the Hearing.
Adopted by the City Council of the Yelm at a regular meeting held on September 22. 2004.
