917 Budget Amend LongmireCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 917
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2009/2010 BUDGET, ORIGINALLY
ADOPTED UNDER ORDINANCE #898 AND AMENDED BY ORDINANCES
#901, #902, #906 & #912, BY ADJUSTING THE APPROPRIATIONS, AND
THE REVENUES.
WHEREAS, funds need to be appropriated in the 2009/2010 budget to adjust for
shortages and overages in the below listed funds; and
WHEREAS, monies will be received through an inter-fund transfer and is
available in each of the funds to support the needed increases; and
WHEREAS, there has been identified some areas in the revenue projections as
adopted per Ordinance #898 that need adjustments; and
WHEREAS, new items have been submitted that relate to various projects that
have not been previously appropriated; and
WHEREAS, the funds are available in the below listed funds to support the
needed budget for these new items; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to increase any fund's
appropriation upon a finding that funds are available and that the purpose is in
the best interest of the City to make such an increase; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interests of the
City to adjust the appropriations and the revenues in the below listed funds,
therefore
THE YELM CITY COUNCIL DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 The 2009/2010 budget appropriations, expenditures and
revenue, for the operation of the government of the City of Yelm for the
fiscal year ending December 31, 2010, is amended and adjusted in the
following amounts:

#197 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT $ 45,000
#314 LONGMIRE COMMUNITY PARK $ 45,000
TOTAL ALL FUNDS $ 90,000

SECTION 2 The budget for the period 2009/2010 is amended to provide
for the changes as outlined above and filed in the office of the Finance
Director and is hereby adopted, ratified, and confirmed.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5) days
after its passage, approval and publication.
PASSED THIS 23rd day of February, 2010 and signed in authentication of
