1. Mayor Foster called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m.
2. Present: Councilmembers: James Blair, Molly Carmody, EJ Curry, Tad Stillwell, Tracey
Wood, Joe DePinto and Terry Kaminski.
Staff present: Community Development Director Grant Beck, City Administrator Michael
Grayum, Public Works Director Cody Colt, Public Works Project and Programs Manager Pat
Hughes, Executive Assistant and Customer Service Manager Kathy Linnemeyer and City
Clerk & HR Manager Lori Lucas.
3. a. Executive Department Budget Presentations - City Administrator Michael Grayum, City
Clerk & HR Manager Lori Lucas and Executive Assistant & Customer Service Manager.
3. b. Public Works Department Budget Presentations - Public Works Director Cody Colt and
Public Works Project and Program Manager Pat Hughes.
3. c. Zoning Discussion - Councilmember Carmody had been contacted by citizens that own
property between NP Road and Railway, which is zoned Industrial. The property owners
were having difficulties refinancing their property because of the zoning. Community
Development Director Grant Beck, explained the process and has added this topic to the
Planning Commission's docket for discussion when they address annual Comprehensive Plan
changes and updates.

5. Council Initiatives -
Councilmember Kaminski asked Councilmember DePinto if he will be attending the
Community and Economic Development Committee meeting and he said he would.
Councilmember Kaminski attended the Public Works Virtual Water Reclamation Facility
event at the Yelm Community Center last week. JZ Rose store is going out of business and
Councilmember Kaminski is sad to see it go, it was a beautiful store. Happy retirement.
