591 Amend 550 Comp PlanORDINANCE NO. 591 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, AMENDING Ordinance 550 by amending the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County, Zoning Map and Future Land Use Map. WHEREAS, the Yelm Planning Commission has held a public hearing regarding the proposed amendments to the Yelm Zoning Map and Future Land Use Map as described below, and WHEREAS, the Thurston County Planning Commission has held a public hearing regarding the proposed amendments to the Future Land Use Map as described below, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed amendments to the Yelm Zoning Map and Future Land Use Map, as described below, are consistent with the goals and policies of the City of Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County, and WHEREAS, the Thurston County Board of Commissioners find the proposed amendments to the Future Land Use Map, as described below, are consistent with the City of Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Yelm Zoning Map in the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County shall be and is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the zone change designation for Tax Parce121713430102, from Thurston County Rural Residential to City of Yelm Moderate Density Residential (R-6). Section 2. That the Yelm Zoning Map in the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County shall be and is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the zone change designation for Tax Parce121724440500, from Low Density Residential (R-4) to Commercial District (C-1). That the Yelm Zoning Map in the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County shall be and is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the zone change designation for Tax Parcels 22719210403, 22719210600, 22719210300, and 22719210400, from Industrial (I) to Moderate Density Residential (R-6). Section 4. That the Yelm Future Land Use Map in the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County shall be and is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the zone change designation for Tax Parcel 22729132003, from Low Density Residential (R-4) and Commercial (C-1) to Commercial (C-1), and included within the short term urban growth boundary. Section 5. That the Yelm Future Land Use Map in the Yelm Comprehensive Plan and Joint Plan with Thurston County shall be and is hereby amended accordingly to reflect the zone change designation for Tax Parcel 22729310301, from Low Density Residential (R-4) and Commercial (C-1) to Low Density Residential (R-4), and excluded from the short term urban growth area. Section 6. This Ordinance shall become effective on the 24th day of December, 1996, being a date not less than five days following publications.
