ORDINANCE NO. 583
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending the 1996 Budget and
Appendix II of the Salary Schedule, adopted under
Ordinance 568, on December 13, 1995, by authorizing an
additional Public Works Assistant I position for the
remainder of 1996 and establishing an effective date.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby authorized an additional Public
Works Assistant I position extending from September 1, 1996 thru
December 31, 1996.
Section 2 . The salary for this position is set at $1, 600.00 per
month for each month of the authorized extension, and will be paid
from existing funding allocations in the Water Fund, City Streets
Fund and Parks Department of the Current Fund.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit this
budget change to the State of Washington Auditor, Division of
Municipal Corporations.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect September 1, 1996.
