ORDINANCE NO. 582
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF YELM BUDGET AND
EMPLOYEE SALARY SCHEDULE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1996, CITY
OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 568, APPENDIX II, PG. 3, EXTENDING
PAYMENT IN LIEU OF MEDICAL INSURANCE TO PART-TIME
EMPLOYEES AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of Yelm Employee Salary Schedule for the
calendar year 1996, Appendix II annexed to Ordinance No. 568 and
incorporated therein by reference, be and the same is hereby
amended by the addition of 50% of the monthly stipend approved by
Council in Resolution No. 348, for payment in lieu of medical
insurance for that period of time for which the employee in the
named position forgoes inclusion in the City's medical insurance
plan.

SECTION 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force on the 27th day of August, 1996.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor
of the City of Yelm, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this
14th day of August, 1996.
