579 Amend 96 Budget PersonnelCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 579
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending the 1996 Budget and
Appendix II of the Salary Schedule, adopted under
Ordinance 568, on December 13, 1995, by combining the
Clerk's and Treasurer's positions into one and creating
a new Senior Accounting Position, setting salaries for
the affected positions, and establishing an effective
date.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The current positions of Clerk and Treasurer shall
be combined into a single Clerk-Treasurer position.
Section 2. There is hereby created a Senior Accounting Clerk
position.
Section 3. Ordinance 568, Appendix II, City of Yelm 1996 Salary
Schedule is hereby amended by the following changes:
Additions:
Senior Accounting Clerk ............................$ 1,575.00
City Clerk-Treasurer ...............................$ 2,367.00
Deletions:
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit this
budget change to the State of Washington Auditor, Division of
Municipal Corporations.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect July 1, 1996.
