ORDINANCE NO. 468
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 433 ANNEXING CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that to eliminate any confusion in City
boundaries or in recorded documents due to an error in the legal
description of said Ordinance No. 433, passed on May 27, 1992;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF YELM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section one of Ordinance No. 433 is hereby amended by
deletion of the following language:
All of those parts of Section 24, Township 17 North, Range 1
East W.M. and of the northeast quarter of Section 25, Township
17 North Range 1 East W.M. lying southeasterly of the
northwesterly boundary of the right-of-way of State Highway
Route 507 (formerly Secondary State Highway 5H and Rainier-
Yelm Highway) as shown on State Highway Plan Profile Sheets
numbers 9 and 10 of Federal Aid Secondary Project Number FAS-
261-D(1), excepting therefrom the South one-half of the
Southeast one-quarter of the northeast one-quarter and the
and by substituting in its place the following language:
The West 412.8 feet of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said
Section 25; except the South 16.5 feet.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective on the 7th day of
July, 1993, being a date not less than five days following publication.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall record a copy of this Ordinance in
the Office of the County Auditor.
