Resolution No. 525
A Resolution Identifying Baker Road as the
Historic Name of 105th Avenue SE
WHEREAS, Section 12.22.020 (A) Yelm Municipal Code establishes that the City
Council may designate names of public parks, public facilities and/or streets; and
WHEREAS, Section 12.22.020 (B) establishes that the City Council may upon
the advice of the Yelm Historic Preservation Commission identify historic road
names and authorize the placement historic road signs; and
WHEREAS, the Yelm Historic Preservation Commission has recommended that
the County identify Baker Road as the historic name of 105th Avenue SE;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Yelm
that Baker Road is the historic name of 105th Avenue SE within the city limits of
Yelm from Mill Road to Clark Road and that this historic road be signed
according Chapter 12.22 Yelm Municipal Code.
