652 Mileage Reimbursement IRSCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 652
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 460
(12/98) AND YELM MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 2.21.010 BY TYING THE
AUTOMOBILE MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT RATE TO THE RATE
ESTABLISHED BY THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE FOR BUSINESS
TRAVEL AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, City Council members recognize costs incurred for using personal
vehicles while on city business are variable;
NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm, Washington, does
ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance 640 and Yelm Municipal Code Section 2.21.010 are hereby
Amended by the deletion of the following words:
And replacement with the following underlined words:
Automobile mileage shall be reimbursed at the rate established by the
Internal Revenue Service for business travel
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in effect on and after February 1 lth, 1999.
