657 Amend Budget Salary PlannerCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 657
AN ORDINANCE amending the 1999 Budget, City of Yelm Ordinance No. 641,
and Appendix II, Page 4 and 5 of the City of Yelm 1999 Salary Schedule by
increasing the number of hours worked and salary of the City Planner.
WHEREAS, the part -time Assistant City Planner /Technician resigned from his position
with the city effectiv6 January 31, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Current City Planner is willing to increase the number of hours worked
from 28 to 32 hours-per week instead of hiring a replacement for the vacant assistant planner
position;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Yelm, Thurston County,
Washington does hereby adopt and ordain:
Section 1. Ordinance 641, Appendix II, Pages 4 and 5 shall be changed as follows:
JOB CLASS /TITLE 1999 STEP 1999 SALARY
From: City Planner 5 $'
To: City Planner 5 $2,560
Section 2. Effective Date: This ordinance shall include the new salary for all extra hours
worked during the 1999 calendar year beginning on February 1, 1999.
