667 Amend Salary Court InterpretorCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 667
AN ORDINANCE amending the 1999 Budget, City of Yelm Ordinance No. 641,
and Appendix II, Page 1 of the City of Yelm 1999 Salary Schedule by increasing
the minimum and setting a maximum fee for services.
WHEREAS, the Office of the Administrator of the Courts requires the services of
Certified Court Interpreters when requested by defendants appearing in court; and
WHEREAS, the current interpreter rate of $40 per session exceeds the 1999 budgeted
amount of $35 per session; and
WHEREAS, rates may be increased during the budget year;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Yelm, Thurston County,
Washington does hereby adopt and ordain:
Section 1. Ordinance 641, Appendix II, Page is amended to reflect the following deletions
(strike through) and additions (double underline):

Section 2. Requests received for mileage reimbursement shall be paid at the approved
Internal Revenue Service Business Reimbursement Rate.
Section 3. Effective Date: This ordinance shall become effective five days following
publication as prescribed by law.
