959 Amend Budget PavementCITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 959
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm amending the 2012 City of Yelm Budget,
adopted by Ordinance No. 949 (12/11), by adding project budget appropriations
for the Enhanced Pavement Preservation Project within Fund 102 Arterial
Streets, authorizing a transfer out of Fund 316, Road / Street Construction to
Fund 102 Arterial Streets; and declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, Fund 316 Capital Reserve for Roads/ Streets and Fund 102,
Arterial Streets was appropriated in the 2012 budget for certain additions and
betterments of the roads and streets in the City; and
WHEREAS, the 1st Street / Rhoton Road Pavement Enhancement Project
includes improvements that better the roadways within the City ; and
WHEREAS, the 1 st Street / Rhoton Road project was budgeted to be paid from
Fund 102 Arterial Streets, however grant reimbursements from the State of Washington
Transportation Improvement Board only occur after funds have been expended, thus
requiring additional cash flow in Fund 102 and
WHEREAS, an Ordinance is a requirement to amend the adopted budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 2012 City of Yelm Budget, Fund 102, Arterial Streets is amended by the
transfer from Fund 316 Road / Street Construction to Fund 102 Arterial
Roads /Streets Transfer Out 316 595 60 65 00 $200,000.00
TI EPP — 1st Street
/ Rhoton Rd Transfer In 102 334 03 80 01 $200,000.00
Section 2. Ratify and Confirmation Clause — Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance but
prior to the effective date is hereby ratified and confirmed.
