334 Public Health Seat BeltsTOWN OF YEL M ORDINANCE NO. 334 AN ORDINANCE relating to the public sanitation; prescribing rates to be the Town of Yelm for the collection of waste materials; amending Yelm M Section 8.12.100, Ordinance No. 311 declaring an effective date. health and charged by and disposal unicipal Code (1986); and BE IT ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YELM, THURSTON COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. Section 8.12.100 of the Yelm Municipal Code and Section 1 of Town of Yelm Ordinance No. 311, be, and the same hereby are amended to read as follows: "Rates. The following rates shall be charged for the col- lection and disposal of waste materials: A. Residential collection at curb once each week: (1) One (1) standard container or bundle, $7.15 per month; (2) Two (2) standard containers or bundles, $9.35 per month; (3) Each additional garbage bag, $4.10 per collec- tion. B. Commercial collection once each week: (1) One (1) or Two (2) standard containers or bun- dles, $9.35 per month; (2) One container of one (1) cubic yard, $31.60 per month; and a like amount for each addi- tional such container; (3) One container of one and one -half (1 %) cubic yards, $48.45 per month; and a like amount for each additional such container; (4) One container of two (2) cubic yards, $57.50 per month; and a like amount for each addition- al such container. C. For each collection from the containers identified in Subsections B(1), B(2), B(3), and B(4) above, in excess of once each week, there shall be an addi- tional charge equal to ninety percent (90 %) of the rate specified for weekly service. D. All drums, $9.75 for each collection on regular ser- vice and $18.50 for each collection on special ser- vice. Ordinance No. 334 Page One of Two E. Additional services, per container per collection: (1) Container carried from curb; over 5' but under 50' ----------- $1.85 50', but under 75' ------- - - - - -- 2.70 For each 25' or fraction thereof over 751 ------- - - - - -- 0.80 (2) For each stair or step over which container carried -- - - - - -- 0.25 (3) For each overhead obstruction less than 8' off ground -- - - - - -- 0.60 (4) For container, bundle, or unit stored below ground level or over 5' above ground level, but not involving stairs or steps -------------------- - - - - -- 0.60 (5) Drive -ins or back -ins on drive- ways or private roads (applies only on first unit) ------ - - - - -- 4.90 F. Appliances that can be handled by one man: (1) Collection at end of regular service day, $7.00 per unit; (2) Special service collection, $48.60 per hour, or fraction thereof, with one -hour minimum." Section 2. This Ordinance and the rates and charges prescribed herein shall take effect on June 1, 1987.
