ORDINANCE NO. 964
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Yelm establishing an imprest fund
and imprest fund custodian for the City of Yelm Police Department
and creating Chapter 3.62 to the Yelm Municipal Code.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, WASHINGTON DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Imprest Fund Established. There is created and established an
imprest fund within the Current Expense Fund, in an amount not to
exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) to be used during the
execution of controlled narcotic purchases, for the purpose of
pursuing and disrupting the flow of narcotics in the City of Yelm.
SECTION 2. Imprest Fund Custodians. The custodians of the Yelm Police
Department Imprest Fund herein established shall be the Chief of
Police.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect five days following
publication.
Passed by the City Council, this 26th day of February, 2013 and signed in
