421 Zoning ClassificationC25 CITY OF YELM ORDINANCE NO. 421 AN ORDINANCE providing for a change in the zoning classification of certain real property within the City of Yelm, Washington. WHEREAS. heretofore the owners of the property described hereinbelow filed a petition with the Yelm City Council requesting that the zoning classification of the said described property be changed from Residential /Agricultural (RA) to Residential (R -1) Zone; and WHEREAS, the City Council elected to consider said zoning petition and to hold a public hearing thereon; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing on the said rezone petition, which invited all interested parties to appear and voice their concerns and opinions respecting the same, was published and posted in the form and manner required by law and a hearing was regularly held at the same time and place fixed in said notice, and all interested parties were given proper opportunity to be heard with respect thereto; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it would be in the best interests of the City of Yelm and the citizens thereof to change the zoning classification of said described real property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YELM, THURSTON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. That the following described real property situated in Thurston County, State of Washington, to wit: That portion of the South half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 18, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, W.M. lying East of Yelm Creek, except the North 156 Feet of the East 430 Feet of said land. Assessors Tax Parcel No. 22718330500 and 22718330400, all in Thurston County, Washington be, and the same is hereby zoned Residential (R -1) Zone pursuant to Chapter 17.24 of the Yelm Municipal Code. Section 2. The Clerk of the City of Yelm, be, and she is hereby directed to cause the new zoning classification for the property described hereinabove to be indicated on the official zoning map for the City of Yelm. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be and become effective on and after the 31st day of December 1991. ATTEST: Shelly A.
