1. Mayor Harding called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call Present: Joe Baker, Bob Isom, Mike McGowan, Tracey Wood and Russ
Hendrickson.

10. Mayor and Council Initiatives
Councilmember Baker attended the Intercity Transit Board meeting where the
budget was discussed.
Councilmember Isom attended the Urban Growth Management Sub Committee
meeting and attended the Irish Luncheon with the Ambassador from Ireland with
Mayor Harding in Seattle.
Councilmember Wood attended the Transportation Policy Board meeting where
they discussed goals and policies.
Councilmember Hendrickson attended the Medic One meeting where there was
discussion regarding the statistics from the Basic Life Support (BLS) Agency.
Mayor Harding attended the Irish Luncheon in Seattle with Councilmember Isom,
Irish Ambassador Anne Anderson, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and the new Seattle
Police Chief Kathleen O?oole. Mayor Harding also attended the Joint Base Lewis
McChord Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) meeting. Mayor Harding also attended the
Thurston County Economic Development Council and was briefed about the Annual
Conference in Las Vegas. Twenty-seven delegates from our area had the
opportunity to attend the conference.
