MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORK SESSION
OCTOBER 10,2000,4:00 P.M., COUNCIL CHAMBERS, YELM CITY HALL
Present: Mayor Wolf, Glen Cunningham, Adam Rivas, John Thompson, Bob Isom and Don Miller.
Staff: Shelly Badger, Stephanie Connors, Tim Peterson and Agnes Bennick.
New/Revised Information: ballot initiatives, 10/10/00 agenda, DARE (109), 10/17/00 agenda and
attachments.
The current fund was revisited for review of items not covered in the last meeting, including the Parks
Budget, Transfers, and amounts appropriated for contracted services.
Tim initiated discussion concerning Public Works accruals. As PW employees are generally paid from
several funds, Shelly will calculate all PW accruals and create a funding distribution meeting current
needs while working on the salary portion of the budget.
As the October 10 items did not use the full amount of allocated time, several items scheduled on the
October 17 agenda were also covered.
