851 Budget Amend Longmire Park
CITY OF YELM
ORDINANCE NO. 851
AN ORDINANCE amending the City of Yelm 2006 Budget adopted
by Ordinance No. 840 (12/05), and authorizing interfund transfers
to complete Phases I and II of Longmire Community Park and
declaring an effective date.
WHEREAS, Longmire Community Park is a resource that will be enjoyed by and
benefit all City of Yelm residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Yelm has funding set aside for capital improvements in
the Cumulative Reserve Fund; and
WHEREAS, park development is an approved use of proceeds from a
Community Development Block Grant Housing Rehab program;

NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Yelm do ordain as follows:
An interfund transfer in the amount of $102,000 from Fund 197, (CDBG)
to Fund 314, Longmire Community Park is authorized for completion of
Phase 1.
An interfund transfer in the amount of $122,000 from Fund 104,
Cumulative Reserve, to Fund 314, Longmire Community Park is
authorized for completion of Phase 2.
Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after its
passage, approval, and publication.
Ratify and Confirmation Clause
Any action taken pursuant to this ordinance but prior to the effective date
is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Adopted by the Yelm City Council at a regular meeting thereof this 12th day of JulyJ.
