SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MONDAY, MARCH 21, 2005
YELM CITY HALL
Meeting began at 2:45 p.m.
Present: Mayor Adam Rivas, Councilmembers Bob Isom and Ron Harding.
Staff: Shelly Badger and Grant Beck
Congressman Adam Smith, Deputy District Director Sean Eagan, Communications for
Adam Smith; Lars Anderson, WDOT Project Manager; Michele Britton and Reporter
NVN; Cindy Texeira.
Congressman Adam Smith provided the group with an overview of the $2.5 million in
funding that he has worked to earmark from the House of Representatives for the SR
510 Yelm Loop Project. It must now be approved by the Senate.
Michele Britton, Project Manager from the Washington Department of Transportation
gave an overview of the status of the design portion of the SR 510 Yelm Loop.
Mayor Rivas continued with information on the funding request to the State
Legislature.
Meeting ended at 3:10 p.m.
